OPTI-FREE® EverMoist MPDS is a new MPDS product with a proprietary wetting agent, HydraGlyde® Moisture Matrix, that works independently of your tear film to keep moisture on your lenses and provides lens comfort from insertion to removal.
OPTI-FREE® EverMoist® MPDS containing HydraGlyde® Moisture Matrix, is a proprietary formula that is specially designed.

Description:
OPTI-FREE® EverMoist® MPDS is a sterile, buffered, aqueous solution containing sodium citrate, sodium chloride, boric acid, aminomethylpropanol, sorbitol, disodium EDTA, two wetting agents (TECTRONIC® 1304† and HydraGlyde® Moisture Matrix [EOBO – 41™ – polyoxyethylene – polyoxybutylene] with POLYQUAD® (polyquaternium-1) 0.001% and ALDOX® (myristamidopropyl dimethylamine) 0.0006% as preservatives. HydraGlyde® Moisture Matrix is a proprietary multi-functional block copolymer that is primarily designed for wetting and lubricating silicone hydrogel lenses.

Actions:
When used as directed OPTI-FREE® EverMoist® MPDS:
- Cleans by removing lipid and protein deposits daily from your lenses during disinfection and storage.
- Biocompatible, dual disinfectants POLYQUAD® and ALDOX® have activity against harmful microorganisms (bacteria, fungi and Acanthamoeba).
- Is used to rinse and recondition your silicone hydrogel and soft (hydrophilic) contact lenses.
- Is formulated to disinfect and store lenses for up to 30 days after disinfection.
No separate enzyme cleaner is required with OPTI-FREE® EverMoist® MPDS when used daily.
Do not store your lenses in saline solution in place of OPTI-FREE® EverMoist® MPDS. Saline solution will not disinfect lenses.
Indications (Uses):
For use in the daily cleaning, reconditioning, rinsing, removing lipid and protein deposits, preventing lipid deposits, chemical (not heat) disinfection, and storage of silicone hydrogel and soft (hydrophilic) contact lenses as recommended by your eye care practioner.
Moisture, Lubricity, Hydrating and Cleaning Benefits for Lens Wear OPTI-FREE® EverMoist® MPDS:
- Provides 16 hours of longer lasting moisture keeping you comfortable for the entire day. HydraGlyde® Moisture Matrix works independently of your tear film to keep moisture on your lenses and provides lens comfort from insertion to removal.
- Maintains a continuous cushion of moisture that allows your eyelid to glide over the surface of the lens without irritation.
- Keeps the lens hydrated throughout the day.
- Binds to dry areas of the lens to block lipid and protein deposition for clean and fresh lenses.

Contraindications (Reasons Not to Use):
If you are allergic to any ingredient in OPTI-FREE® EverMoist® MPDS you should not use this product.
General Directions:
- Remove imprinted seal around bottleneck completely before use.
- Always wash and rinse your hands before you handle your lenses.
- Clean, recondition, rinse and disinfect your lenses each time you remove them.
- Always handle the same lens, the right or the left, first in order to avoid mix-ups.
- After use, always empty and rinse the lens case with fresh OPTI-FREE® EverMoist® MPDS and allow to air dry.
For Optimal Results, Follow These Directions to Clean, Disinfect and Remove Protein:
- Thoroughly wet each side of the lens with OPTI-FREE® EverMoist® MPDS. Rub the lens for 20 seconds.
- Rinse each side of the lens for 10 seconds with a steady stream of OPTI-FREE® EverMoist® MPDS.
- Fill your Lens Case with fresh OPTI-FREE® EverMoist® MPDS. Store lenses in the closed lens case overnight or at least 6 hours. After soaking, lenses are ready to wear.
If any debris remains on contact lenses, rinse with OPTI-FREE® EverMoist® MPDS prior to insertion. You may leave your lenses in the closed lens case containing OPTI-FREE® EverMoist® MPDS for up to 30 days. After this time, your lenses must be cleaned and disinfected with OPTI-FREE® EverMoist® MPDS prior to wear.
Your eyes are unique. Your eye care professional may recommend additional products or procedures to care for your lenses based upon your individual tear chemistry and lens-wearing schedule. Always follow your eye care professional’s instructions. Do not change your directions for care of your lenses without consulting your eye care professional.
Warnings:
It is essential that you follow your eye care professional’s directions and all labelling instructions for proper use and care of your lenses and lens care products, including the lens case. If you experience persistent eye discomfort, excessive tearing, vision changes, or redness of the eye, IMMEDIATELY remove your lenses and consult your eye care professional as the problem could become more serious.
Precautions:
- Always use fresh OPTI-FREE® EverMoist® MPDS. Never reuse the solution in your lens storage case.
- To avoid contamination, never touch dropper tip of the container to any surface.
- Replace cap after using.
- Store below 25°C. Store upright.
- Keep the container tightly closed when not in use.
- Use before the expiry date marked on the product.
- Discard any remaining solution six months after first opening.
- Keep out of the reach of children.
- Not for use with heat (thermal) disinfection.
How Supplied:
OPTI-FREE® EverMoist® MPDS is sterilized by filtration and is supplied in plastic bottles in sizes ranging from 60mL to 300mL.
